The service of the department also extends to the procedure outside the theatres like radiation, ERCP etc. The department runs a Pre anesthesia clinic where the surgical patients are seen as outpatient basis. Patients admitted for surgeries will be visited by a consultant anesthetist on the previous day of surgery. Labor analgesia also rendered by the department as and when required.
