Health care and service being one of the most important objectives of our Congregation, the Marian Medical centre Hospital was established for the service of the sick, disabled, down-trodden and other needy thousands of people in and around the area.  It has a humble beginning as a health care centre with 20 beds in 1973. But today it has grown into a 100 bedded multi-specialty hospital with almost all major departments and facilities. The reasons behind the growth and development of the hospital lie, both in the untiring efforts and selfless service of the sisters, the renowned, devoted and highly qualified doctors and the staff and the dire needs of the people in and around the place for better health care.
The institution is trying its level best to make available to the common man, the fruits of modern developments in the field of science and medicine.  From the very beginning Marian Medical Centre has been catering to the medical needs of the rural folk. Very often we render free medical help or medical help at a reduced rate and other kinds of financial aid to all the needy and deserving people.  It is also trying to irradicate superstitions and false beliefs from the minds of the people, on health and medical matters through public health programmes. The benefits of the activities of the society shall be open to all, without any distinction on the basis of caste, creed or sex. We have well functioning Nursing school nurtured by our medical facility.

A Home for the Destitute:

The St.Joseph’s Block, a Home for the Destitute - for taking care of terminally ill patients was blessed and inaugurated on 4th April 1998 in Marian Medical centre campus itself, as a Silver Jubilee Memorial of the hospital.
